George Pratt<\/strong><\/h1>\n

George Pratt is een bekroond schilder, schrijver, fotograaf en filmmaker. Zijn werk bevindt zich in talloze priv\u00e9collecties wereldwijd. Onder de vele prijzen die hij heeft ontvangen zijn de Eisner Award voor zijn graphic novels, een Spectrum Gold Medal, de Britse Speakeasy Award, de France Info Award voor zijn graphic novels, en Best Feature Documentary op het New York International Independent Film Festival voor de documentaire film See You In Hell, Blind Boy.
\nGeorge’s eerste graphic novel, Enemy Ace: War Idyll, DC Comics\/Warner Books<\/strong>, is in vier Amerikaanse edities verschenen, is vertaald in negen talen en stond op de verplichte leeslijst van de West Point Military Academy. Het boek werd genomineerd voor zowel de Eisner als de Harvey Awards voor Best Graphic Novel, evenals voor Best Foreign Graphic Novel in Angoul\u00e9me, Frankrijk, waar het de prestigieuze France Info Award voor Best Foreign Graphic Novel won. Het won ook de SpeakEasy Award voor Beste Buitenlandse Graphic Novel.
\nGeorge’s miniserie van 4 afleveringen voor Marvel Comics<\/strong>, Wolverine: Netsuke<\/strong> werd bekroond met de Eisner Award voor Best Painter.
\nNaast zijn werk in de galerie zijn zijn klanten onder andere: Warner Books, DC Comics, Marvel Entertainment, The Criterion Collection, Fantagraphics Books, First Second Books, Playboy, National Geographic<\/strong> en andere. George was vereerd om opgenomen te worden in Walt Reed’s boek The Illustrator in America 1860 – 2000.<\/p>\n
