JON BOGDANOV

n a career spanning nearly 40 years, Jon Bogdanove has made history as one of the greatest comic book artists (and sometimes writers) of all time. He was one of the main architects of the record-breaking epic The Death of Superman and other comics involving The Man of Steel, he co-created the character of Steel, and he continued to create beautiful artwork for many other major comic book publishers. You can now personally thank him for Fantastic Four v. The X-Men, X-Factor, X-Terminators, Superman v. Savage Dragon 2, Superman v. Aliens 2, and issues of Batman, The Hulk, Alpha Flight, Solomon Kane,… the list goes on. In the animation department, Jon drew keys and animation cycles for a special sequence in Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans Go episode, “Creative Geniuses”. In June 2022, he reunited with Louise Simonson to draw a brand new STEEL background story for an upcoming DC Comics project marking the 30th anniversary of Superman’s death.
